Lyle G. Kopenkoskey 58 of Resort Twp. Died Oct. 2 2012.

Funeral services for Lyle will be 11:00 AM Saturday Oct. 6, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church in Petoskey. The Rev. Doug Kenny will officiate. Visitation for Lyle will be from 10:00 AM till the time of services at the church.

Lyle was born July 22, 1954 in Petoskey the son of George and Luella (Burdick) Kopenkoskey. He grew up in Petoskey and attended Petoskey Schools where he graduated from Petoskey High in 1972.

On Spt. 29, 1973 he married Carol Dunkel.

For the past 12 years Lyle has worked for Manthei Development Co.. He enjoyed Nascar and his home away from home in Alanson.

Lyle is survived by his wife Carol, mother-in-law Rose Dunkel, brother Carl Kopenkoskey and wife Toni, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
