Bonnie E. LaLonde, 65, of Cheboygan, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hospice House of Cheboygan.

Bonnie was born October 26, 1947 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Irene Demary.

She graduated from Pittsburgh High School in Massachusetts and was a second mother to many of her children’s friends, with an open door and a shoulder to cry on anytime. She was employed as a waitress for many years and was loved by many customers which she not only considered friends but family.

Surviving are a daughter, Tammy (Mark) Draper of Cheboygan and two sons, Jimmy (Judy) LaLonde of Traverse City, and Rick LaLonde, also of Cheboygan, her grandchildren, Kayla, Megan, Keegan, Katlin, Michael, Leanne, Jamie, Justin, and Joey and several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00am with the family greeting friends beginning at 10:00am, at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Ortega officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
