On June 27th, 2000, the world was given a great gift, “Adas” Adam T. Wolniewicz Jr. On April 19th of 2018 his light was unexpectedly taken from us. “When a light that shines so bright leaves us, the darkness we find ourselves in seems all consuming.”
Adas lived in Cross Village with his loving family. He was a senior at Harbor Springs High School. Adas was a hard and responsible worker. He enjoyed his jobs at Superior Mechanical and Nubs Nob.
Adas was known for his kindness, goofiness and his amazing ability to make people laugh. He touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a style all his own. When Adas walked into a room, just his presence would light it up.
Adas lived life to the fullest and on his own terms. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging with his boys. He loved to cook for his family and his friends. Some say he was an “OG” of the culinary arts. Adas’s favorite pastime was getting a rise out of everyone he knew, especially his Sister Vela.
Dimming the lives of the loved ones he left behind his Father and Mother Adam and Tania, his Sister Vela, His G-ma Val, Dziadek Ted, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many friends.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Childhood Catholic Church on Friday, April 27th at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:30am until the time of Mass.
