Alfred "Scotty" Jackson

Alfred "Scotty" Jackson, age 76 of Wolverine passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at his home. He was born March 17, 1939 in Clydebank, Scotland,  the son of George and Jean (Abram) Jackson. On January 23, 1959 in Alma, Scotty married Judith Walters who preceded him in death in September of 2007.

Scotty worked for General Motors as a die washer and retired in 1996 after more than 31 years of service. In 1997, he and Judith moved to Wolverine. He attended Indian River United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing, working in his yard, scenic drives, feeding the wildlife and making everyone smile. 

Survivors include his two children, Michelle L. (Rob) Roberts of Afton and Michael L. Jackson of Middleville, his brother, Desi Jackson of Jackson, MI, granddaughter, Nikki M. Roberts of Grand Rapids and his loving companion, Anita V. James of Wolverine. Besides his wife Judy, Scotty was preceded in death by his parents, two sons in infancy, Robbin and Troy and a brother, Thomas Jackson. 

No services are planned at this time. memorial contributions may be directed to the Indian River United Methodist Church. Lintz Funeral Home is caring for the family.
