Arlene Ennis

Arlene L. Ennis 64 of Boyne City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2017.

Arlene was born in Detroit on February 8, 1953 and was raised in the Detroit area graduating from Marion City High School with the Class of 1971.  She worked mostly as a stay at home mother, but later in life worked with her daughters as a cashier at the Petoskey and Charlevoix Burger King Restaurants. 

Arlene enjoyed reading, especially James Patterson and loved music of any type and gladly would attend any concert she was invited to.  Just recently, her grandchildren took her to see Fallout Boy, ZZ Top, as well as Bob Seger, and while she enjoyed every moment of the music, her greatest love was spending those precious moments with her family.

She is survived by 5 children, Kenneth Wisdom of Boyne City, Stacy Wisdom of Boyne City, Jill (Dan Barutt) Wisdom of Charlevoix, Randy Wisdom of Charlevoix, and Jessie Wisdom of Mississippi; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Adam, Matthew, Elizabeth, Christina, and Emmett; a great granddaughter, Adrianna; and by sisters of the heart, Beth Bomareto and Lucy Pennell with whom she cherished many moments of joys, and sorrows.

Arlene was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Leach in 1971.

A service celebrating Arlene’s life will be held on Tuesday,  October 3rd at 3pm at the Petoskey Salvation Army.

Arrangements are in the care of the Stone Funeral Home of Petoskey.
