Dearest Ms Carolyn, I'm so very sorry to hear of Pastor Byron's passing. He was a great person, and an amazing God loving man. There were many times I came to him for guidance and he always made me feel grateful to know him. You two always blessed me, Jerry and the kids (Rachel, little Joseph & Jacob) with your love of the Lord and showed us what a beautiful Christian couple was supposed to be . There is a song by Jennie Lena called 'Heaven wins again'. And it certainly has gained an angel with his passing. Much love and many prayers. Jennifer

Byron Hurd loved God and loved people. He loved telling others of his love for the Lord through music,sermons and the way he lived his life. His kind, gentle spirit will be missed by so many. Sympathy and prayers for Carolyn and his family.

I got the pleasure to hear Byron sing in church during the several years that I attended St. Paul's. It was always such a blessing!
