Deborah (Slasor) Scarbrough

Deborah M. Scarbrough, 62, of Brutus, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at home.

A resident of the area for the past 4 years, moving from Detroit, Deborah was born July 21, 1955 in Detroit, the daughter of Dennis and Marlene (Alberts) Slasor, Sr.  She had been employed as an associate at Walmart in Petoskey for the past 2 years, prior to that the American House Assisted Living in Northville for 10 years.  With her mother Marlene, she also did residential house cleaning for over 13 years.  Deborah also enjoyed crocheting and bingo.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard Campbell of South Lyon, and Jason (Kelly) Campbell of Taylor, three grandchildren, Jordan, Breanna, and Megan, her father, Denny Slasor, Sr., of Brutus, a sister, Loretta Allen of Brutus,  a brother,  Denny (Marilyn) Slasor, Jr. of Dearborn Heights, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Scarbrough, and her mother, Marlene Slasor  

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Nordman-Christian Funeral Home is caring for the family.
