Deborah Ann (Rupert) Walters

Deborah Ann Walters, 66 of Cheboygan passed away on October 14, 2017 at McLaren Flint Hospital.

Deborah was born on June 28, 1951, the daughter of Charles and Germaine (Peurala) Rupert. She grew up in Royal Oak, Farmington Hills, and Warren Township and attended high school in Cheboygan. She went on to obtain a medical transcriptionist's certificate from North Central Michigan College in Petoskey. On May 22, 1971 she married Roland Walters in Onaway, MI. Deborah was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church of Cheboygan. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, baking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Deborah is survived by her husband Roland "Duane" Walters, children Windy (Mike Sr.) Brockette, Heidi (Robert) Robinson, Kiley Walters (Marty Bruder), Courtney Walters, and Kasey Heggen, grandchildren Trevor Bettis, Anthony Bettis, Robyn Robinson, Jeremiah Siler, Zachary Walters, Zaine Walters, Zaylinn Bruder, Colter Heggen, and Aliyah Heggen, great-granddaughter Kaydence Robinson. Her siblings, Barbara Elvin, Mike (Marie) Rupert, Mary Rupert, Judy (Alan) Fryer, Sue (Damian) Pica, Joe (Alana) Rupert and many neices and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved aunt, Phyllis Tilley as well as a grandaughter (Whitney) and a grandson (Niles).

Deborah will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tower, MI., services are pending.
