Donald Herman Bruske

Donald Bruske, 86 of Indian River, passed away on February 3, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Donald was born on May 16, 1931 in Pontiac, MI, the son of Carl Bruske and Margaret (Wiles) Bruske. He grew up in the Pontiac and Waterford area and attended school in Pontiac. Donald proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War until June of 1960. After that, Donald began work at General Motors. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, and cars. Donald also loved his winter home in Zephyrhills, FL and spending summers in Northern Michigan. 

Donald is survived by his sister Donna Gleason, nieces and nephews Craig (Crystal) Gleason and Jason (Krystal) Gleason, great nieces and nephews Alison Gleason, Madison Gleason, and Aiden Crawford. he was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his siblings Richard Bruske and Arlene (Chester) Welch.

Burial will take place in Ottawa Park Cemetery located at 6180 Dixie Hwy, Village of Clarkston, MI 48346. The date for the burial is currently pending.
