Dorotha Sharlene Roberts

Dortha Sharlene Roberts, 70, of Riggsville, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Tendercare of Cheboygan.

Sharlene was born July 4, 1945 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Wilson “Bill” and Nadine Tallman.  On August 6, 1966 in Alverno, she married Gerald “Jerry” Roberts.  She enjoyed genealogy, cooking, and arts and crafts.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry, two sons, Ronald (Julane) Roberts of Boulder, Colorado, and David (Domini) Roberts of Indian River, Michigan, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister, Charmaine Tallman-Baker of Door County, Wisconsin, and a brother, Wayne (Liz) Cooper of Perkins, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00am, with the family greeting friends beginning at 9:00am, at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.  Rev. James Gardiner will officate, burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Alverno.

Memorials may be made to the Cheboygan County Humane Society, or the American Cancer Society.
