Dorothy Louise (Crandell) Daniels

Dorothy (Crandell) Daniels, age 82 of Boyne City passed away Wednesday, July 5th at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

Dorothy was born in Boyne City, MI on October 26, 1934 the daughter of Charles, Sr. and Evelyn (Bondy) Stocker. She loved spending time with her family, watching the Detroit Tigers and playing Bingo.  Dorothy especially loved the Boyne City 4th of July parades when her son Kevin (a retired Marine) marched in his uniform.

She is survived by her siblings; Charlotte Keech, Nellie Cardosa and George Stocker; children Norvieta (Denny) Ward, Kay (Tom) Orr, Charlene (Carl) Russ, Kevin (Shiela) Crandell; twenty grandchildren and thirty-seven great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; brother Charles Stocker, Jr.; sisters Ellen Urich and Arlene Turner; husband Lester Crandell; beloved son Lester Charles Crandell and grandson Greg Sweet.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 10, 2017 at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Pastor David Behling officiating.
