Dustin Sidelinker

Dustin Sidelinker, 17, of Cheboygan, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

Dustin was born January 1, 1999 in Cheboygan, the son of William and Shelly (Malloy) Sidelinker.  He attended the Inverness Academy School, and enjoyed music and playing various musical instruments and was a self taught guitarist, skate and long boarding, snowmobiling, fishing, hacky sack, and socializing with his friends.

Surviving are his mother, Shelly Malloy, his father, William Sidelinker, Jr., his siblings, Courtney Appleford, Austin Sidelinker, and Daisy Buchanan, his grandparents, Pat and Jerry Beauchamp, Jean Sidelinker, and Joyce Stacy, his aunts and uncles, Jerome and Tina Malloy, Jr., Colleen and Tony Quayle, Lillian Sidelinker, Melissa LaRock, Michael and Jen Bell, and Michelle and Pat Mace, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Sidelinker, step father, William Buchanan, II, grandfathers Jerome Malloy, Sr., and William Sidelinker, Sr., and an uncle, Tom Malloy.

The family will greet friends on Monday, May 23, 2016, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and 6:00pm- 8:00pm, at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.  The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00am, with the family greeting friends beginning at 10:00am, at St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church in Cheboygan.  Rev. James Gardiner will officiate, burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Benton Township.
