Gail M Simon

Gail M. Simon, 61, courageously won his battle with cancer on Friday, January 20, 2017.  The strife is over.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen; daughter, Leah (Zach) Raymer; son, Aaron; 3 beautiful grandchildren, Ryleigh, Rhys, and Rozlynn; father, Vincent; 8 brothers and sisters; numerous cousins; and a plethora of good friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eli; his mother, Audrey; and by a brother.

Gail was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying all aspects of the woods and water.  He gardened and raised livestock, being true to his upbringing on a farm.

Please think of Gail when you are in your blind or in your boat.  Focus on the meditation of your heart and you will find Gail.

A memorial Mass celebrating Gail’s life will be held on Thursday, January 26th at 10:30am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30am until the time of Mass.

Arrangements are in the care of the Stone Funeral Home of Petoskey.
