Gloria Helen (Giordano) Buckmaster

Gloria Helen Buckmaster, age 86 of Boyne City passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix.

Gloria was born on February 21, 1930 the daughter of Joseph and Millie (Fazio) Giordano in Englewood, New Jersey. She worked several years at Hackensack Hospital in N.J. assisting as a housekeeper on the maternity floor.  In 1952 Gloria married Richard Buckmaster in Boyne City.  She enjoyed looking at the pictures she collected of the Lord and listening to religious music.

Gloria is survived by her children Anna (Douglas) Gilbert, Debra (Martin) Weisler, William (Mary) Buckmaster and Hazel Buckmaster; grandchildren Douglas, Richard, Jennifer, Shawn, Justin, Austin, Jason, Elizabeth, Trisha, Jackson and William; and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard on October 15, 2006 and brothers Garry and Victor Giordano.

A Pot Luck for family and friends will be held 3:00 to 5:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2016 at Fall Park in Wilson Township.
