Gloria Jean (Kuntz) Lasley

Gloria Jean Lasley, 69 of Conway, Michigan, died September 22, 2016 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

Gloria was born on December 31, 1946, the daughter of Martin and Dorris Kuntz. She grew up in Petoskey and attended Petoskey High School.

On December 28, 1967, she married John R. Lasley in Petoskey. Together, the raised two sons; Paul and Jim.

Gloria worked as a grocery store clerk at Martin’s Produce and Giant Way. She enjoyed camping, shopping and spending time with friends. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, VFW and Petoskey’s Zion Lutheran Church. Gloria was a social butterfly – she loved talking to her friends and familiar faces in the community.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Paul (Denise) Lasley of Escondido, CA. and Jim (Krystle) Lasley of Alanson, MI.; grandchildren, John Lasley, Daniel Lasley, Kaleb Wilson and Kyla Wilson; a brother, Fred Kuntz; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by husband, John Lasley and her parents.

There will be a funeral service, Monday, September 26, 2016 at Stone Funeral Home starting at 11 a.m. with a one hour visitation prior to the service.
