Jack Leroy Kinsey

Jack Leroy Kinsey, 66, died very suddenly on Sunday, April 2, 2017.

Jack graduated from Waterford Township High School in 1968, and went on to obtain a Pharmacy Degree from Ferris State in 1973. He practiced as a pharmacist for several years before pursuing a career as an automotive mechanic. Jack was most recently employed at Harbor Point Association. He was an avid outdoorsman and his favorite activities included hunting, golfing, motorcycling, woodworking and reading. Everyone who knew Jack will remember his amazing sense of humor. He always left you in a better mood after spending some time and talking with Jack. He loved all animals, especially cats.

Jack is survived by his wife of 40 years, Maureen “Penny” Kinsey; sister, Sue (Jim) Coyle of Laingsburg, MI; brothers, Jerry (Lori) Kinsey of Clarkston, MI., and Mike Kinsey of Manvell, TX; sisters-in-law, Jerrolyn (Robert Tingley) Hancock of Grand Rapids, MI, Ann Phillips (the late Michael Phillips), and Lynn (Gary) Steffens; and several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents; and brother-in-law, Michael Phillips.

Jack was very much loved and will be missed by his family, friends and his Harbor Point “family”.

According to Jack’s wishes he has been cremated. There will be a celebration of life ceremony at a later date.
