Mr. Marks was a wonderful teacher, friend and mentor back in 1960-1963 and I had the utmost respect and love for a teacher I could muster. Mr. Marks was the ultimate in a teacher and totally understood his students. I am so sad that he has passed. I will always remember him and his kindness and the ability he had to "connect". My sincerest sympathy to Karen, Steve, Jeff, Dana and your extended families. My brothers and I were part of the neighborhood kids who learned to swim at the Marks' pool! I have many fond memories of Karen and I growing up together and our families being neighbors.

Prayers to the family of a wonderful man. I remember Mr. Marks as my math teacher at Kalamazoo Central. I graduated with the class of 1956. He was a great teacher.
