I am sorry for the long health battle for both Joyce and the family. Our prayers are with all the family and friends of this powerful and wonderful woman. I have nothing but fond memories of our times in Cheboygan and Three Rivers with all the family members. Much love and good health to you all.

Aunt Joyce was beautiful. She taught me a lot while growing up around her. Dad, Mom, Aunt Lucy, Jimmy O'Neal, Mmemae, Tommy Tennant, and Aunt Joyce are together and I am sure the cards are flying! Rest in peace sweet lady. Jnet

I am grateful to have known Mrs. King as a student. She demonstrated character. She spoke lovingly about her family. She put in time and effort into her work. What a role model. And what a life she lived. She was loved by a lot of people. She always seem to love and care for others. Rest in peace.

Mrs. King was my favorite teacher in high school many years ago.
She always had a smile and made learning fun.

Joyce was an attractive, fun person who was not afraid to touch on any subject with her students. She was ahead of her time in her curriculum in teaching all of life's skills. I enjoyed playing bridge with her and knowing her in the school system. She will be sorely missed.

May she rest in peace. In getting to see you often, Louie, at Hancock Haven, it was clear Joyce was the love of your life. She was such a special person and a favorite teacher of many. Be strong. Wish you and your little dog well. Nan
