Kenneth Falting

Kenneth F. Falting, 70, of Cheboygan, formerly Macomb County, Michigan, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in St. Ignace, Michigan.

A resident of the area for the past 5 years, moving from Ray Township, Michigan, Ken was born July 22, 1945 in Charlevoix, the son of Floyd and Genevieve (Brock) Falting.  He served with the U.S. Marine Corp from 1965-1967 during the Vietnam War.  On September 20, 1969 at the 1st Congregational Church in St. Clair, he married Jane Cheadle.  Ken served as vice president Detroit Broach and Machine in Auburn Hills for many years, and later retired from the industry in 2008.  He enjoyed maintaining, driving, and showing hot rods and other vehicles, attending car shows, and spending time outdoors in northern Michigan and the U.P.

Surviving are his wife, Jane, a son, Greg Falting of Lansing, a granddaughter, Cora-Jeanne, a sister, Pamela (Larry) Kleinhans of Armada, Michigan, and one niece and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services are planned at this time.
