Lancer Franklin Paul Turbin, 28

Lancer Turbin passed from this life on Friday, November 3, 2017.  He was born June 30, 1989 in Petoskey the son of Brian and Sallie (Frisbey) Turbin.  Lancer grew up in Alanson and was a graduate of Alanson High School, Class of 2007.

His life, while ending far too soon, was filled with the love of family and close friends.  He possessed a gentle soul and an open kind heart.  For many years he was active along with his brother Gavin in taekwondo, his skill earned him a silver medal in competition.  He enjoyed outdoor pursuits like little league baseball, snowmobiling and canoeing.  He also enjoyed antique snowmobiling with his Dad and his brothers. 

Lancer is survived by his parents Sallie Turbin and Brian Turbin and by his brothers Gavin (Amber Kerberskey) and Logan, his sister Amanda and his love Leah Kilpatrick, his very special niece, Makayla, his maternal grandparents Paul and Patricia Frisbey, many aunts and uncles and numerous cousins, and by his best friends Trigger, Spankey & Olive and his Mother's cat, Bridgette.   He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harry and Virginia Turbin and by "Ole Grandma" great grandmother Mildred Frisbey, Aunt Linda Svedek and cousin Emily Frisbey. 

His family plan to remember and honor his life during a Memorial Service that is planned for 12:00 noon Saturday, November 11, 2017 at New Hope United Methodist Church in Levering.  Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m.
