Lynnetta Ann (Godzik) Conti

Lifetime area resident, Lynnetta Ann Conti passed peacefully early Friday, October 20, 2017 at McLaren Northern Michigan. 

She was born March 8, 1947 in Petoskey to John and Vera (Lumpp) Godzik.  She grew up in Petoskey and was a graduate of St. Francis High School, Class of 1965.  On October 14, 1966 she married Patrick Conti and together they raised two children, Scott and Tracy. 

Lynnetta's family will remember a woman who possessed a deep and abiding faith, it was this faith that helped her to face with courage and grace, the setbacks she suffered to her health over the last several years.  To her husband and children she was a constant source of love, support and guidance.  In all things she placed the needs of her family before her own.  She has throughout her life been an active and energetic person who enjoyed being in nature, walking though trails in the U.P. and the Pigeon River forest.  She was also an avid Detroit Red Wings fan, and a Detroit Lions fan through thick and thin.....mostly thin.

Lynnetta's family include her husband Patrick, son Scott (Heaven) Conti and daughter Tracy (Tom Lasater), brother Lynn (Bonnie) Godzik and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Conti family will receive friends during a memorial gathering that is planned for Tuesday, October 24th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Stone Funeral Home.

This wonderful lady was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
