Margaret Jean (Vincent) Bedrick

Margaret Jean Bedrick, 74 of Petoskey, died January 25, 2016 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

Margaret was born January 21, 1942 in Lake George, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Genevieve Vincent. Margaret and her fifteen siblings moved around a lot when she was younger but eventually settled in the Petoskey area.

On September 29, 1961, she married Larry Bedrick. Together, they had four children.

Margaret was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Petoskey. She enjoyed gardening, playing games with her grandchildren and crocheting. She was a determined woman, smart and extremely strong willed.

Margaret is survived by her children, Missy (Nick) Davison, Larry Jr. (Janet) Bedrick, Ann (Dan) Malec and Michael Bedrick; grandchildren, Erin Davison, Lauren (Kris) Dey, Zach Davison, Matt (Sara) Davison, Alyssa Bedrick, Thomas Bedrick, Steven Bedrick, Molly Malec, Daniel Malec and Sara Bedrick; great grandson, Logan Dey; siblings, Sue, Don and Lucille; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bedrick and twelve siblings, Emma, Erma, Genieva, Tina, Paul, Joe, Lawrence, Ray, Willard, Wilbur, Katherine and James.

There will be a funeral service, Wednesday, January 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Stone Funeral Home, with an hour gathering time prior to the service. Father Dennis Stilwell will officiate the service.
