Mary Elizabeth (Whitman) Stolt

Mary Elizabeth Stolt, 74, of Bay Shore, died September 21, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Mary is once again with the love of her life, her husband, Michael Stolt, in Heaven.

Mary was born December 4, 1942, in Fostoria, Ohio, the only child of Robert and Dorothy Whitman.

On June 17, 1961, she married Michael Stolt. Together, they had three children and shared 55 happy years of marriage.

Mary was a homemaker and loved gardening, canning and baking delicious food for her family. In recent years, she enjoyed playing cards and running the Craft Barn at Flywheelers. She was extremely involved in her church life at Jesus Is Lord Community Church in Bay Shore.

Mary is survived by her children, Gary M. Stolt, Vickie (William) Simon and Brenda (Frank) Kozlowski; grandchildren, Jesse (Melissa) Stolt, Heather Evans, Michael Evans, Kyle Kozlowski, and Kevin Kozlowski; and great grandchildren, Brayden King, Mason Evans and Paisley Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents, and grandson, Adam Kozlowski.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
