Mary Ellen Carraway

Mary Ellen Carraway age 77 of  Harbor Springs MI, passed away on July 19, 2016.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26th, at Holy Childhood of Jesus Church in Harbor Springs. Church gathering will begin at 10:00 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM. A light luncheon will follow the service. Interment will take place  at 1:00PM on Wednesday, July 27th at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey MI.  

Mary Ellen is survived by her loving husband Thomas Michael Carraway, daughters Katie Casperson (Bill) and Patricia Reitz (Dan), son Timothy Carraway (René), and Brother John Raleigh Sr. (Ann). She was a devoted grandmother to; Jackie Reitz, Billy Casperson, Stephanie Reitz, Kevin Casperson, Sean Carraway, Dan Casperson and Shannon Carraway. She is preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Monticello.

Mary Ellen and Mike lived and raised their family in West Bloomfield and recently retired to Harbor Springs MI. A memorial service will be held at a later date for friends and family in the Detroit area.

The Carraway family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Emmet County Sheriffs Dept., Michigan State Police and Emmet County EMS.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center in memory of Mary Ellen Carraway
