Megan Marie Pegish

Megan Marie Pegish, age 21 of Cheboygan passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was born May 9, 1994 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Michael and Cristie (Sheldon) Pegish.

Megan graduated from Cheboygan High School in 2013. She enjoyed fishing, camping, soccer and volunteering at the former Larson Hall. Megan loved kids and was a great sister to her siblings. She was known to be very outspoken and was an animal lover.

Survivors include her parents, Michael Pegish of Toledo and Cristie (Tom) Bradshaw of Cheboygan, her girlfriend, Kayla Sanders and their son Laynden Dennis of Cheboygan, her siblings, Michael (Crystal) Pegish and Kylie Bradshaw, both of Cheboygan, Faith Pegish, Dylan Pegish and Nicholas Pegish, all of Toledo, Jessica Morris of Georgia and Brett Seymour of Toledo, grandparents, Sheryl (John) MacAfee of Toledo, Pat (Lucinda) Sheldon of Mt. Pleasant, Pete McClusky of Toledo, Donna (Dick) Oakwood of Goodrich and Richard (Linda) Bradshaw of Utica, great grandparents, Edwin (Alice) MacAfee of CA and Marcella Stump of Cheboygan, her aunts, Toby (Don) Allison of PA, Jody (Chip) Smith of Mt. Pleasant and Stacey Sheldon of Ann Arbor, niece, Gracelyn Mae Pegish of Cheboygan, nephew, Nathaniel Mark Smith of TX, cousins, Jacquelyn Cullen and Eugene Cullen, both of VA, uncles, Jack Venzlaff of Cheboygan and Bryan (Thomasina) MacAfee of OH and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia Ann (Eugene) Pegish and her great grandparents, Grace (Jack) Venzlaff and Paula MacAfee.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Currie officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
