Michael Bruce Freedland

Michael Freedland, 72, of Petoskey, Michigan and Venice, Florida, died May 19, 2017.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Sue and his children Barry and Diane Freedland, Jennifer Freedland and Dan Massey, Joshua and Allison Freedland, and Emily (Freedland) and Stephen Stuchell. He was a devoted grandfather to Hayden, Oliver, Sophie and Mae Freedland and Sage and Sienna Stuchell.

Michael was founder and president of Monarch Steel. His life was filled with helping others. He cared passionately for animals and never left home without dog treats in his pocket. His own two Labradoodles were often the recipient of these treats, or any dog he met along the way.

 Internment is at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey at 10am.
