Rachel Maria Viola Hamp

Rachel Maria Viola Hamp, 21, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday evening.

Rachel was born February 17, 1996, in Petoskey, Michigan. She graduated from Petoskey High School in 2014.

She always had a deep love for family, friends and music. Rachel could pick up any instrument and learn how to play it within weeks. Everyone who knew her will remember her beautiful singing voice. She had a huge heart and was always there for anybody in need.

Rachel will be so desperately missed.

Rachel is survived by her mother, Tonia (Jon) Marihugh; her father, Andrew Hamp; brothers, Lucas and Nicholas Hamp; step-brothers, Andy, Phil and Sam Marihugh; grandma, Rhonda Sobleski; great grandma, Viola Meyers; uncle and aunt, Brent (Lorie) Rutterbush; many other extended family members; and countless friends.

The family will receive friends at Stone Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11th, from 2-5 p.m. and again Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 on February 12th, 2018.
