Robert Vincent Ball

Robert Ball, 87 of Petoskey, died on May 19, 2017 at Hiland Cottage.

Robert was born on June 26, 1929 in Detroit, the son of Keith Ball and Louise Gokee. Robert grew up in Petoskey, MI and attended school at Petoskey High School.

On July 7, 1950, he married Mildred Waugh in Petoskey. Robert served in the United States Army during the Korean war designing blueprints for missiles.

He was a devout member of the Trinity Missionary Church. He also enjoyed hunting, skiing, scuba diving, bicycling, tennis, golfing, and practicing at the shooting range.

Robert is survived by his son Steven Douglas Ball and his grandson Nicholas Robert Ball. He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred Ball, his parents Keith and Louise Ball, his older brother Richard Ball and younger brother Doug Ball.

Visitation will be held at the Trinity Missionary Church on June 3, 2017 at 10am with a memorial service starting at 11am with Pastor Steven Beigle officiating.
