Rose Anne (Dickey) Kilmer

Rose Anne Kilmer, 63

Lifelong area resident Rose Anne (Dickey) Kilmer passed away, surrounded by her loving family early Thursday, April 19, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan. 

Rose was born in Petoskey on November 22, 1954 to Lloyd and Dora (Honeysette) Dickey.  She grew up in Alanson and was a graduate of Alanson High School.  On April 2, 1971 she married Dale Elias Kilmer in Petoskey and together they raised two children, Malissa and Dale.

Rose worked nearly all of her adult life in the medical field; for many years with Emmet County Medical Care Facility and then for Dr. Charles Dermatology. 

Rose is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 47 years Dale, by her daughter, Malissa (Keith) Kilmer-Grissom, by her son Dale L. Kilmer and by her grandsons, Kaleb J. Grissom, Alexander Readmond, and Blake E. Grissom.  Rose is also survived by her mother Dora Dickey and by her two sisters and one brother, Doris Welch, Marilyn Craft and Dan Dickey, and by many extended family and friends.  Her family will forever be grateful for the memories of a kind and loving wife, mom, grandmother and daughter.

Honoring her wishes, Rose's family will remember her privately, no public services are planned.
