Shirley A. Marsh

Shirley A. Marsh, age 80, of Cheboygan passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at McLaren Hospital in Petoskey. She was born October 7, 1936 in Cheboygan, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Donaldson) Landrie. 

Shirley was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her 10 children, Mary (Richard) Junge of Cheboygan, Sandra Ghent (Mike) and Steven Marsh (Mary), both of Baldwin, David (Laurie) Marsh, Darla (Jeffrey) Mushlock, Scott Marsh, Charles Marsh (Heather), Thomas (Karen) Marsh, Sally (Jeremy) Borowicz and Sara (John) Carter, all of Cheboygan, six brothers, Dave, Dan, Chuck, John, Gale and Dale, five sisters, Patsy, Judy, Betty, Kristine and Janet, her daughters-in-law, Annie Marsh and Stephanie Marsh, 34 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved son, Raymond Marsh, granddaughter, Jackie Marsh, sister, Susan Socha, her niece, Melanie Landrie and the father of her children, Douglas Marsh.

A graveside memorial service to be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with a luncheon following at the Cheboygan Eagles beginning at 2:00pm. . Memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be directed to Hospice of the Straits or the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
