Virginia Rosalie Tryban of Cheboygan passed away Saturday, May 20 at her home just 27 days short of her 99th birthday.  She was born on June 16, 1918 on the family farm on Polish Line Road to Joseph and Louise (Robydek) Socolovitch.

While attending social functions at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she met the love of her life, Kashamer  Tryban.  They were married at Sacred Heart on November 4, 1939 where she was a lifelong member.  She was baptized, received her first communion, confirmed, married, and now will be buried at her beloved Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She was a devoted Catholic with a strong faith and special affinity to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and our Blessed Mother.
