Jim Benham was my super friend-brother of 47 years. He grew more precious the longer I knew him. He was the kindest, fairest, most gentle soul and he will always inspire me. He had a way of making friends and then getting his friends together, usually with a meal that he and Mary Ellen cooked. Over the decades, Jim fed the multitudes, sometimes dozens at once at Blissfest or his Luaus. Jim was a keen observer of humanity. He always saw the best in his many friends, and encouraged us, after really listening to us. My life was much richer knowing Jim Benham. He was a miracle man for many of us, always willing to help. I will miss him so much, but will carry him forever in my heart.
