Agnes Pauline (Glovak) Finn

Agnes Pauline Finn, 95 of Petoskey, Michigan, died June 14, 2019 at Mallard Cove Assisted Living in Petoskey.

Daughter of Frank and Josephine Glovak, Agnes grew up in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania and attended school at St. Mary’s Catholic School.

On June 12, 1948 she married John Claire Finn in Port Huron, Michigan

Agnes was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, garden and advocate for healthy living. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her husband and the many wonderful things God provided her. Her faith was her greatest gift and she attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. But what will be missed the most is her beautiful smile, witty sense of humor and caring heart.

Surviving Agnes is her five children: John Claire (Reneé), Gregory (Julie), Rodger (Pam), Sharron Procknow, and Nancy (John) Plichta; her grandchildren: Dana, Shannon, Brian, Kelly, Trisha, Don, Sandra, Michelle, Sam, Casey, Josh, Lacy, Ranoy, Sara, Amy, Julie, Daniel, and Kevin; and her 39 great grandchildren; and her sister Catherine Colonna “Tootsie”

Agnes is preceded in death by her loving husband John; her siblings: Frances (Victor) Belisle, John (Edna) Glovak, Steve (Dorthy) Glovak, Leo (Lucy) Glovak, Helen (Bill) Harvey, Joe (Alba) Glovak, and Mary (Bernie) Kress.

A funeral mass will be held in Agnes’s honor Wednesday June 19, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Petoskey, Michigan. Father Dennis Stilwell will be officiating the service and a visitation will begin at 9:30 AM.  Agnes will be buried at the Shrine Cemetery in Indian River, Michigan.
