Agnes M. Gregory, 93 of Brutus, Michigan, died April 9, 2018 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey.
Agnes was born March 20, 1925, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Neiswander. She grew up in Petoskey and was a graduate from Petoskey High School in 1945.
On January 1, 1949, she married John Paul Gregory in Petoskey. They lived in various places before returning to their family farm in Brutus, Michigan.
Agnes worked as a teacher both at the Woodland School and the Brutus School. She was a bookkeeper and receptionist for Dr. Conti before going to work as a bookkeeper for W.W. Fairburn's in Alanson.
She loved her flower garden and enjoyed reading and playing cards. Agnes was a talented painter.
Agnes is survived by her son, Roger (Kathleen Diohelp) of Vallejo, CA; daughters, Mary Lynn (Don Bisdorf) Gregory of Ann Arbor, MI; and Pamela (Frank) Gregory Rhine of Alanson, MI; grandchildren, Matthew Samford of Ann Arbor, MI, Susanna Samford-Fraass of Huntsville, TX, Hypatia Gregory of Longview, WA and Edward Gregory of Oak Dale, CA; great granddaughter, Jane Fraass; and her sister, Bea Babrick of Petoskey, MI.
Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, John Gregory; parents, Edward and Elizabeth Neiswander; brothers, Wesley, Charles, Franklin and Roy Neiswander; and her sister, Marion.

There will be a memorial service at the Maple River Mennonite Church, Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
