Ann M. Wilson

Ann Margaret Wilson, 85 of Harbor Springs, died April 22, 2019 at her home. 

Ann was born on August 29, 1933 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Rogers) Tierney and grew up in Orchard Lake, where she graduated from Shrine High School. 

On October 19, 1957, Ann married the love of her life, Frank “Red” Wilson and they made their home in Pontiac for a time before moving to Harbor Springs in 1962.  Ann went to work as a bank teller before becoming the assistant secretary and bookkeeper for Wequetonsing Golf Club, retiring in 2012. 

Ann was a member of the Holy Childhood Catholic Church of Harbor Springs and loved her Harbor Springs community.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, and playing golf, but her greatest love was her family.  She cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and looked forward to them coming to visit her in Florida every winter and going to Disney World. 

She is survived by her husband, Red; 3 children, Robert (Kathi Tippett) Wilson, John (Shannon) Wilson, and Carolyn Wilson; 3 grandchildren, Brittany (Wade McRae) Wilson, Christine Wilson, and Taylore Wilson; 3 great grandchildren, Michael Henk, Matthew Henk, and Kinley Curtis; and by 2 brothers, John (Barbara) Tierney and Mike (Joanne) Tierney. 

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 26th at 11am at the Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Harbor Springs.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10am until the time of mass.
