Auggie an I were good fiends for a long time in Cheboygan and Alaska. In 1982 Auggie and I ventured to Alaska Auggie ended up in Anchorage and my wife Linda and two children Ron and Kelly Settled in Wasilla , about 50 miles apart. Have some really good memories on a way north. Auggie and I stopped at a small gas station on the Alaska highway and I'll never forget the guy leaning in the door way saying "you guys aren't going to try going over that mountain without chains are you" ? Well at that point we needed to buy some chains from the guy. After 150.00 each we asked the guy how bad it was. He looked at Auggie and I and said " Don't know never been there ." But we had our chains ! Anyway "aug and I always had fun. RIP " Aug"
