Bonnie Elaine (Bell) Sackrider

Bonnie Elaine Sackrider, 90 of Wolverine, passed away on October 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by family.

Bonnie was born on March 23, 1927 in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of Charles and Henrietta (Goltz) Bell. She grew up in Saginaw and attended school at Saginaw High School. On October 5, 1945, she married Russel F. Sackrider in Saginaw. Bonnie loved bingo. She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and going to the Onaway Dairy Queen. Bonnie also loved to garden and she canned the food that she grew. Bonnie was a member of Inland Lighthouse Church of God.

Bonnie is survived by her children Jeanette (Eugene) Warner, John (Linda) Sackrider, Frank (Jeanie) Sackrider, Ray (Sharon) Sackrider, Susan (Ken) Warner, and David (Natalie) Sackrider, 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Henrietta Bell, her husband Russel, one infant child, and four siblings.

Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Bonnie should consider Cradle of Hope or Hospice of the Straits.

Services for Bonnie are going to be held on Sunday, October 29th, at the Lintz Funeral Home. Visitation starting at 12pm, Funeral at 2pm with Rev. Dave Goheen officiating.
