Cheryl Ann Cranick, 60 of Harbor Springs, died January 2, 2020 at the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
Cheryl was born on September 4, 1959 in Petoskey, the daughter of Willard and Viola (Lasley) McNamara and was raised in Harbor Springs, attending Harbor Springs Schools.
On August 12, 1989, Cheryl married the love of her life, Bryan Harrison Cranick in Goodhart, Michigan and the two made their home in that area. Cheryl worked for the Odawa Casino.
Cheryl enjoyed working in her yard, camping, and spending time with her family, doing various activities. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Brutus.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan H. Cranick; daughter, Manice (Joe) McNamara-Yepez; a grandson who she raised since he was an infant, Macklin Yepez; granddaughters, Jada and Sophia Yepez; brother, Dexter (Debbie) McNamara and by a special nephew, Marque Cranick.
A funeral service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held on January 10th at 11am at the Calvary Baptist Church of Brutus with Rev Russ Hahn officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10am until the time of service. Cheryl will be laid to rest at the Little Traverse Twp. Cemetery in Conway.
