Christopher John Krupa

Christopher John Krupa  was born on October 24, 1962 in Petoskey, a resident of this region for generations, died June 7, 2018 at his home in Cross Village.

Chris is survived by his sons, Robert Potter (Alicia), and Christopher Krupa (Elizabeth, Nancy); a daughter, Brittany Krupa (Geoff); father, John Krupa; brothers, Martin Krupa (Sarah), John Krupa, and Jamie Krupa; sister, Lisa Krupa (Jan); grandchildren, Connor (Rey), Owen, and Kaydin Potter and Fern and Olive McCormack.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin (Scoon) Krupa in 2001 and by his mother, Maryanne (Pikur) Krupa in 1994.

Chris worked for 31 years at first Tallberg’s, now Dave Kring’s Auto Body Shop and was well known for his autobody and refinishing skills.  Chris was loved by his Cross Village Community and was always willing to lend a hand.  His generosity was legendary and heart large.  He will be greatly missed by all those blessed to have known and love him.  We will remember his easy quick smile, always having time to spend with his many dear friends and family, and the hours shared gardening with his beloved grandchildren.

The family invites you to join them in celebrating Chris and his life at his home: 5088 Oak Drive, Cross Village on June 23rd.  A time of remembrance will be held from 3-4pm with a party following.
