Daniel "Danny" Skinner

Daniel L. “Danny” Skinner, 61, of Cheboygan, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey.

A resident of Cheboygan for the past 20 years, moving from the Chicago, Illinois area, Danny was born March 9, 1958 in Chicago, the son of Donald and Marlene (Rezek) Skinner.  He had been employed at the Northern Michigan Truss Company, and as maintenance and groundskeeper at the Cross in the Woods National Shrine, and most recently the Encore Financial Group in Cheboygan.  He also enjoyed flower gardening, helping at the Cheboygan County Humane Society, and he loved animals, especially his dog Charlie.

Surviving are his mother, Marlene, and a brother, Donald L. (Patricia) Skinner of Hobart, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Darryl L. Skinner.

No services are planned at this time.
