Donald Keith Krusell, 72, of Boyne Falls, died December 11, 2019 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Don was born on July 3, 1947, the son of Charles and Mavis (Stezaker) Krusell. He was raised in Petoskey and graduated from St. Francis Catholic School. Shortly after graduation, Don joined the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1967 to 1969.
Don married Lynda Arman and together they had two daughters, Laura and Brenda. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and football. In his spare time, Don liked to go 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. Most fall days, Don would be at his deer camp in Boyne Falls, having a beer around the bonfire with his buddies, doing his favorite thing with his good friends and family.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Petoskey and Indian River.
Don is survived by his daughters, Laura (Will) Hughey of Harbor Springs and Brenda (Mike) Ford of Harbor Springs; his partner for the past 11 years, Carol Ross; grandchildren, Casey and Austen Hughey and Brendyn Ford; and nephew, Jeremy Krusell.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Ronald Krusell.
There will be a memorial service at Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Reverend David Behling will officiate.
