Donna Mae Moore LeDuc

Donna Mae Moore LeDuc, 72, of Cheboygan, passed away peacefully at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey under the care of hospice on Thursday, August 2, 2018. 

A lifelong resident of the area, Donna was born February 17, 1946 in Cheboygan, the daughter of Hector and Lorraine (Cross) Lucier.  She married her first love, Norval “Hack” Moore, and together they raised three children, Jim, Connie, and Gene. After the passing of her husband, Hack, she later married Jerry LeDuc.  Donna had worked for 36 years at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital prior to her retirement in 2008.  She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and especially her children and grandchildren. 

Surviving are her husband, Jerry, her children, Jim (Betty) Moore, Connie (Rob) Socha, and Gene (Dena) Moore, her stepchildren, Lisa, Donald, Jerome, and John, her grandchildren, Tara, Natasha, Tanner, Hunter, Zach, Cooper, Shauni, and Chloe, her sisters, Diane, Linda, Debbie, and Judy, and brothers Dave and Eddie.  Also surviving are many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Hack Moore, and a brother, Hector Lucier. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 1:00pm, with the family greeting friends beginning at 11:00am, at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home in Cheboygan, with Rev. Dave Hueter officiating.
