I met Mrs. Wing when I was in high school when I met my best friend Denise. Mrs. Wing was always very sweet to me and treated me like family as did Mr. Wing. I always felt welcome and comfortable around them. Will miss Mrs. Wing she was a very caring and loving lady. Wish I could be there for my Friend Denise and her Dad Mr. Wing. My prayers and love go out to Denise her dad and all her family.

Uncle Jr. & cousin's, my heart is so heavy for your losses. I don't have answers for God's timing but, I do know He is a loving God and He wants us to turn to Him & trust Him in all things. I am praying for God's love to fill the empty places with His everlasting hope and peace. It is apparent Aunt Donna loved big & she loved well. Be comforted in the knowledge that she loved you all very much!

“Life is but a Weaving” (the Tapestry Poem)

“My life is but a weaving
Between my Lord and me.
I cannot choose the colors
He weaveth steadily.

Oft’ times He weaveth sorrow;
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.

Not ’til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And reveal the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the weaver’s skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned

He knows, He loves, He cares;
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives His very best to those
Who leave the choice to Him.”

No one knows who wrote this poem. It was often quoted by Corrie ten Boom.

"Now see yourself, and see me too;
And look ahead to a world that is new.
No sight we see, no sound we hear
Will cause alarm or give rise to fear.
All has come true, just as He said;
Now over mankind His Tent is spread.
He now shall awaken those sleeping in death;
Their voices will join us with every grateful breath."
Revelation 21:1-5

I met the Comp sisters at Northern Mich. hosp in Petoskey in 1990 when my mother was a patient . We got to talking in the I CU waiting room and it turned out that they grew up next door to an Uncle of my moms in Cheboygan. Jack Ryan . When my mom passed away all three of the Comp sisters came to the funeral home in Onaway for the service . My family and I were touched by them doing so . I do not remember the other sisters names but I know two were twins . I am sorry I lost track of them and their married names ,but have thought of them over the years .Im sorry for your loss. We had fun rehashing things as we spent numerous hours at the hospital . Please accept our sympathy . Jerry Sullivan
