In his spare time he enjoyed working on and riding his motorcycles; spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, kayaking and hunting. He also liked to read science fiction novels.

Eric is survived by his parents, Carl and Tracy Mumma; sister, Brooke (Jake) Carter; brother, Kurt (Kate) Mumma; grandmother, Freddy Killingbeck; nieces and nephews, Megan, Zach, Elliot, Jack, Annalee, Quinn and Korra; close friend, Celia Kubiak and her daughter Vera; and many many other good friends.
