Gerald "Dave" St. Amour Obituary

Gerald D. “Dave” St. Amour, age 75, of Cheboygan passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Hospice House in Cheboygan. He was born December 20, 1942 in Cheboygan, the son of Andrew and Eunice (Hudson) St. Amour.

Dave had worked in the construction and logging industry and was a “Jack of all Trades”, always willing to help others or give the shirt off his back. He enjoyed watching Tiger baseball, Lions football and Nascar.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Barb Hatt of Cheboygan, four children, Michael Bell of Cheboygan, Rick (Heather) St. Amour of OK, Lynn (Pat) Hayes of Green Bay and Michael (Jenny) Allen of Saginaw, three sisters, Sharon, Joan and Margaret, one brother, Dale St. Amour, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Bill Buchanan, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

A memorial get-together and pot luck dinner will take place at Barb’s house, 2933 N. M-33 on August 11 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
