Gloria June (Weaver) Vorce

Gloria June Vorce, 87, of Charlevoix, Michigan, died on August 2, 2019 at Boulder Park Terrace, Charlevoix.

Gloria was born on July 22, 1932 in Wolverine, Michigan and was the daughter of Ward and Hope (Boynton) Weaver. She grew up in Wolverine and attended and graduated from Wolverine High School.

On October 22, 1949 Gloria married George Milliman, who passed away on April 15, 2001. She then married Duane Vorce on June 11, 2001 and spent the next 18 years with him.

While living in Wolverine, Gloria served as a local election clerk and was a member of the Free Methodist Church for years.

Gloria enjoyed baking and cooking for her family that she spent much of her time with and provided for. She was a kind gentle person.

Surviving Gloria is her husband Duane; her children: Jim (Marcie) Milliman, Pat (Tom Leimer) Milliman, and Leanne (Dennis Coyne) Milliman; her grandchildren: Corey and Nic Milliman, and Amanda Dominguez ; three great grand children; and her sisters: Betty Burrows, Shirley Lemke, Connie Hutfilz, and Geraldine Atherton.

Preceding Gloria in death are her parents Ward and Hope Weaver; her husband George Milliman; and her brothers: Bill, John, Bob, and Dick Weaver.
