Gregg H. Dickerson, age 71, Bois Blanc Island passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 in Cheboygan. He was born February 2, 1948 in Grand Rapids, the son of Wesley and Ardis (Bliss) Dickerson. Gregg attended many different schools because his dad was in the Air Force and graduated from Kentwood High School in 1966.

Living on the island, Gregg worked for the Harbor Commission, the transfer station where he was the supervisor and served as the airport manager and was a member of the EAA. He was a “Jack of all abilities”, including mechanic, handyman and maintenance aviator and enjoyed boating and island life.

Survivors include his one true soul mate, Louise Sullivan, one daughter, Lisa (Gerard) Klein, two sons, Steven (Tressa) Dickerson and Keith Dickerson, three step sons, Derek Guay, Rocky Guay and Jake Guay, 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
