Helen Marie Middleton, 92, of Harbor Springs, died February 3, 2018 at Bay Bluffs Medical Care Facility.
Helen was born June 25, 1925, in Stutsmanville, Michigan, the daughter of Elmer and Delta (Hall) Weaver.
On June 25, 1944, she married Herbert Truman, together they had six children. After Herbert’s death, Helen married J.C. Middleton on October 31, 1970.
She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed keeping a clean home and cooking for her family. In her spare time, she liked to read. She was a lifetime member of Stutsmanville Chapel and even taught Sunday School for quite some time.
Helen is survived by her children, Bob (Marilyn) Truman of Harbor Springs, Dale (Sylvia) Truman of Alanson, Larry (Corliss) Truman of Livingston, Montana, Daniel (Carol) Truman of Harbor Springs, and Diane Peterson of Cincinnati, Ohio; three step sons, Dale, Gary and Ronnie; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Truman and J.C. Middleton; and her sister, Juanita Burrows.
There will be a funeral service at Stutsmanville Chapel on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Pastor Ryp Hankins will officiate.
