James Earl Brown, 29 of Mackinaw City, Michigan, died April 13, 2019.
James, son of Debra McTaggart and Todd Brown, was born on October 2, 1989 in Petoskey. He grew up in northern Michigan and attended school in Pellston and was a graduate of Petoskey High School.
James was very happy go lucky, and full of life and love. His ever-present smile made it easy for James to make friends, and many of his close friends were like family. He was always there to help anyone with anything. He loved hanging out with family and friends riding motorcycles and doing anything outdoors. He also loved working with his brothers. He was an awesome dad to his daughter, Olivia, who was the center of his life and always his first thought. His passing left a huge hole in a lot of lives. His warm smile, generous nature and amazing sense humor will be missed by everyone who knew him.
James is survived by his daughter Olivia Brown; parents: Debra (Paul) McTaggart and Todd Brown; his brothers Alex (Karrie Obrien) Brown, and Robert (Emilia) Brown, former spouse, Teena Conrady; his three step children: Alyssa, Hannah and Nathan Rundle; his maternal grandmother: Lillian Bergey; and his aunt Dixie Rimes, also niece and nephew, Annabella and Raymond Brown. Also surviving are special friends, Amanda (Jessie) Skop.
