James "Jim" P. Wressel
April 27, 1934 to April 10, 2018
It is now the end of his final season. The memories that were created along the way were both abundant and unforgettable. He has influenced and touched the lives of so many, leaving a legacy for generations to come.
Jim unselfishly served our country during the Korean War and then would begin his 30 year career as a principal, teacher, and coach. Retirement would then allow him to enjoy his love of the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter, loved to fish and watch sports of all kinds. He also enjoyed raising and training bird dogs, as he was very passionate toward his many fur babies.
He is survived by his wife Connie of 55 years, daughter Amy (Jerry) Unger, son James (Jessica) Wressel, three grandkids; Britni, Jimmy, and Tyler, four great-grandkids; Abbygayle, Sophia, Estella, and Jace, two sisters Margaret Ann Taylor and Ellen (Jim) Harrington, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at the Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River, MI. Visitation on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 11am-3pm and the funeral immediately following at 3pm.
There will be a memorial scholarship in his honor, details to follow.
